MID – YEAR FUNDRAISER

Hello Everyone,

Here is some information regarding our mid-year fundraiser.
(If your child is a pre-schooler, pre-junior or only does acrobatics, then this does NOT apply to you)

This year we are fundraising for the Westmead Children’s Hospital (Liver Transplant Unit), as our pre-teen student Jemma Neilson, bravely went through her second successful transplant last year thanks to the Specialists at the hospital. It was very hard on her family, but they were amazed at the help and support they received by the Unit. So, this year it’s for you Jemma – and your wonderful Specialist, Doctors and Surgeons !

We will all meet at the Petersham Town Hall at 3pm, with a stage rehearsal starting at 3.30pm (please try not to be late, the kids will only get one run through per item on the stage)

There will be a small break from 5-5.30pm (the kids will need to bring along some healthy snacks to eat and water to drink).

At 5.30pm the show will commence. It should run for just over an hour so all of the Wilkins parents can get to their school fundraiser – busy night!

It will be a cash only event, and there will be a suggested donation price at the door. You will also get the opportunity to meet Jemma and her lovely mum Relyta at the door.

This is a no set costume and no make-up event, the teachers will tell each class what to wear – please don’t go out and buy anything, what you have at home is fine! The night is about the cause, not the other stuff!

Please let me know if you have any questions, and of course, we’d LOVE some help on the day. So if you’re around and have a bit of time, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Team EDNA! xx
